S2E15 "Plunket Fleeson"
Heroes come in many forms. That is true today and that was true during the American Revolution. Many times, their names and their contributions are not known. However, that doesn’t diminish the fact that they are still heroes. Today we look at the contributions of Plunket Fleeson, an individual few people have ever heard of. But, Plunket Fleeson built the tent used by George Washington to plan the war, to fight the battles, and to travel around the Colonies during the American Revolution. And the original tent still exists today and can be seen in the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia. So, we hope you enjoy learning about Plunket Fleeson in today’s episode of Revolutionary War Rarities. We are the podcast from the Sons of the American Revolution.
